When I try to add a symbol, I face the following challenges:

1) Not able to define symbol from main window. Need to click "Add symbol" then click on the right side, select modify symbol and then define the symbol.

2) Units and formulae are not fully linked. Apparently, the system just treats units as something that is multiplied to the value whenever it is referenced. As I cannot use units within the formula box, some of the expressions need to be defined assuming what unit would be used and then specify the resulting unit.

3) No clear feedback when I hit "Save" for the symbol. The button just fades a bit and I end up closing the dialogue box when I feel that I have waited long enough.
